It’s a rubbish job

Bin it ,its rubbish

Years ago for a while between jobs, I drove a mini skip for a haulier. An easy job with the added bonus of collecting for my personal use several items unwanted by others.

A working electric lawn mower, a very ornate wall barometer and lots of other useful stuff. Once when I parked it outside my house for the night my neighbour knocked on the door and asked if he could have the motorbike on it. I said he could as long as he lifted it down himself and a day or so later I saw him riding it around the estate. :joy:

Won’t let you now but years back my uncle worked at the local tip ,(recycling plant,) the amount of stuff he used to bring home pedal bikes garden furniture etc .
Nothing wrong with it just was last seasons design or what ever.
Unbelievable some of the stuff he brought home almost new

Yes, back in the last century when we lived in England the council tips were privatised and the bloke that used to work for them managing the local one became the effective owner working for himself. He continued to manage it very well and sorted anything useful and possibly sellable to one side. Then he sold them, quite legitimately, and we got a lovely bidet off him for our bathroom because we had realised with our house in France, the usefulness of such an item. :joy:

Not everybody in France valued them in the same way though. A Dutch lady, good friend of ours lived alone in a small chateau which had many bedrooms and bidets. She also had 25 dogs and all the bidets were topped up with fresh water each day for the dogs to drink from at will.

Bidet.

When visiting whores on a budget, removal of clothes and straight to the bidet for thorough cleansing of the genitalia.

Also, coarse sea salt on warm water soothes the feet and by extension the rest of the body and soul.

My brother-in-law worked for a rubbish firm, said it was ‘Forty hours a week and all you can eat’.

Don’t have to worry about securing your load just through a net over n that will do it
