The wind coming from an HGV overtaking at speed can be quite unnerving, especially on a poorly maintained or narrow road. Once you’ve had your handlebars clipped by a wing mirror you soon become wary of vehicles overtaking you.
Some people should try cycling to see what it’s like, maybe they’d take a more sympathetic road position afterwards.

The first overtake was ok, but he should have never even started the second overtake, the bike was doing a fair speed anyway, just sit behind it & wait for a clear road.
It’s a bit concerning, the amount of Trucknetters coming on this thread & having a go at the Cyclist & condoning the Lorry Driver, I would have punched the cab after the second overtake & probably offered the driver out for a little lesson in Patience.

I think even the first one was a bit close, it was obvious he’d have to get in quickly because of the traffic lights.
I don’t get why all these helmet-cam heroes need the amateur dramatics and opera style “whoa whoa whoas” as you’d probably not hear them anyway. They do it to get attention from passers by and to make their dull videos a touch more interesting.
