SK Haulage

No, not the usual question. What does SK stand for ?(not skint and knackered)

maybe all other 2 letter combinations+haulage were already taken

Back in the…

Mists of time (again), when I worked for PJK European, it was known as Perverts Jerks and Kids.

The Dutch fridge drivers affectionately called the firm ‘■■■■■ European’. Apparently pjk on the trailers, looked like pik, which (so I’m told) is Dutch slang for willy.

another from way back was aston clinton haulage .usually called ach.known as a…holes clap and herpes

DHL…drop it, hide it, lose it

It was a serious question. Wanted to know what SK stood for ?

Probably something…

Like Stephen Kevin is my guess. A poke around Companies House on the net might solve the case.

All the directors have the same surname starting with K. Presumably at some point there was an S as well.

UTO (Universal Transport Operations) - untrained operators.
TTS (Townsville Transport Service) - today, tomorrow, sometime.

S and K were originally set up by Mike Shaw and Neil Kidby but went their separate ways.
Neil Kidby kept the name and Mike Shaw set up BRT [Barry Road Transport]started on Little Moors Hill,Barry and later Culverhouse Cross.

Fair play to them. They are still going strong, so they must be doing something right
