Anyone ever worked for Sitra? I phoned them Monday, and they said you have to have experience of fridges and left-hand-drive vehicles, which I have, I’m thinking of having a sniff after a job, what’s the score?

Harry, I go past Sitras yard several times a week its situated off the Noordring at Iper. Friday afternoon/evening yard is filling up and drivers are taking their stuff out of their trucks all Belgian licence plates so obviously not working weekend and getting ready to go home. However, you do see trucks on ferry/train coming over to UK but by the languages they speak they are from Eastern Europe and a lot of Sitras trucks are plated from Poland. I load frozen food in Belguim every week alongside Sitras trucks and have never met an Englishman yet, rgds Biffo

when i worked there they use to have 6 parking spaces in ashford truck stop for the drivers who did’nt have parking at home, i was told that they now park at husks in dover, they still have the office in ashford on the henwood estate and they do now have english reg motors again,they had about 5 when i worked there then they got rid of them all and gave us all belgium ones ,the lad what works for morgan freight is david roberts he was related to paul roberts who was the manager , paul moved to australia after a big fall out with sitra.
