Not sure where this might go… However;
I’m looking around for a place in Coventry that would be suitable for a transport yard for about 20-25 rigid LGVs.
Our depot is being temporarily relocated to Birmingham 
until they find replacement premises… So I figured I’d ask here 
All you knowledgable lot 
Is there a directory of places/properties or is it just a hit or miss thing?!?

Well I would have said try agents who specialise in selling ot letting industrial property. A drive round industrial areas might also turn up a place with for sale or let boards up.

my advice to the French would be go up Prologis and get a depot purpose built
Cov council owns industrial property

The old one? They’re building “Luxury Apartments” in them 
Social housing is more needed in Coventry and they’re putting expensive stuff there?! Madness!

No, no, no, you misunderstand. That big patch of green in the middle. Plenty of room for 20 - 25 trucks and it would be at least be using it for something useful.

Oh yes, I see what you mean. However, I don’t think the management would be supportive of that idea…

Different perception of time. I class M-F as being Week and SS being Weekend.
Not that it matters with me, as I’m only a part timer on 36 hpw (4 days)
I guess it is. i have two kinds of days, working days and non working days. The actual day of the week is irrelevent, I’m either working or I’m not.
This week, as in most weeks, I am not working Friday and Saturday so I guess that makes it my week end.
Mind you it has been said that my life is a 7-day week end.

Hmm. I know that feeling too I’ve a very laid back job I have. Obviously occasional hard bits but for the most part I survive and enjoy it…

No problem smeserver…I’ve moved it to it’s rightful place in the bar though, the trucking connection was just that bit too tenuous for the PDF.
