That’s a dam shame. He was a top bloke IMO.
RIP Tel.
As above, rather have him on the breaky show than that loud mouth little ginger ■■■■■■.

I remember listening to J&J on the way to school.
Great shame. I never really liked him on TV.
But radio, fantastic.
As others have said he could always raise a smile out of anyone, especially on those dark cold mornings where you were going somewhere you didn’t really want to go.
Miss you Terry.
RIP.
I was never really a fan, and didn’t listen to his show much. I preferred Chris Moyles who was on at the same time (not everyone’s cup of tea I know, just that Wogan was not mine)…but there can be no argument from anybody that the guy was a radio legend who will be missed by many.
On his death certificate, the doctor wrote (blank)…
Eddie Stobart Driver?
Enjoyed listening to his wit the Janet & John stories well you just had to laugh as he delivered them in such a straight way he was quietly spoken not loud or brash never came close to using any bad language but was funny in his own way you either liked him or you didn’t he was never bothered as when asked how many listeners he had " Only 1 " that was his gift
He was a true professional alway stayed calm & very professional
RIP TOG

That’s so random it’s almost funny…
One of his quips comes to mind:
Ford have just released a new model called the Ford Pubic
Its very similar to the old Corsair!
Excellent he will be sadly missed.

No … there is a “Wagon” Passed doing 77 …
Another mighty oak falls.Simply the finest broadcaster of all time and the reason radio 2 emerged from the mildewy, staid ghetto it occupied prior to his re-arrival circa early 1990;s.RIP great one.
Chris Evans has been playing some old Wogan stuff from his old show and I’ve forgotten just how funny his show was.
Brightened many a morning with his stories and banter between himself, deadly alancoat and lyn Bowles, don’t mind Chris Evans but not a patch on the togmiester, RIP old friend
I found this elsewhere:
And English actor David Schneider said: “It’s truly like God’s put an intern in charge of deaths and he’s going through the list of celebrities people really love. RIP Terry Wogan.”
It certainly feels like it.

Eurovision was never the same once he left
loved it when an interviewer asked him why Eurovision was going downhill, his reply was BECAUSE ITS CRAP,so funny considering he made money from it,
Money he was paid for the show he donated to Children in Need.
We’re running short of people like Terry who despite making good keep their feet solidly on the ground and fail entirely to take themselves too seriously, whilst enjoying their work…other celebs should take note.
Radio 2 now is dead to me apart from Ken Bruce’s slot and Tony Blackburns top twenty rundowns from yesteryear, and the odd times Madeley or Allinson stand in…it started to peg out when Ray Moore died and they replaced Jimmy Young with Jeremy Whine, gone downhill since and Wogan retiring from the breakfast slot just about put the mockers on it.
Quite simply the best there’s ever been.
Pastor Kidneys still has me howling
RIP
I must admit JV is starting to get on my wick just lately. He seems to shout these days and his manner has changed since he appeared on Strictly Come Bore Me. I was surprised to find I quite liked listening to that guy from Corrie and some of the music he played was pretty good too.
Setting the alarm clock when the loud, ginger ■■■■■■ is on is very painful indeed.
