Poor diet and lack of exercise will do that to a man.

Look on the bright side though, you’ll have less food now and more time to run up and down the stairs trying to keep warm while you wait for the phone to ring.

OMG not this crap question again :unamused:

contraflow i don’t think i will be out of work I’ve been driving dustcars 3 years, hiab rigid 3 years and 15 plate artic tramping for 15 months with central london experience.really not worried.love you bruv

Its a quiet time of year for agencies where the people who’ll be getting offered the work first will be those who’ve been with them longest and proven their worth.

I’m an agency driver. I’ve been driving 23 years and the only things I’ve not driven are car transporters and concrete mixers. Don’t assume everyone who works at agencies have only been driving a few months or a couple of years and have only done a bit of curtainsider work. Many will have more experience than you especially with agency work now seemingly becoming something those nearing retirement like to do as they can work hours to suit.

Pppffffffftttttttt, im currently sat in the south of france on a ten day trip, on my first trip for a agency.

I didnt quit a job to do it though. The new year lull doesnt hit everyone and everywhere.

after running through few agencies got offered class 1 containers induction or class 2 monday start .not too bad.thats north east.xpo night shift offered as well but not interested in nights. at least something else from cab sleeping…

im the same fella took the plunge last week .
bit of hassle with bank setting up but all good now and plenty of work and pay is worth working for now.
I was the same tramping for 10yrs + just had enough of it.
pay was an insult to be honest .
goodluck
