Sign things are picking up?

Left stobarts in leeds last sept been on agency since was quite on agency few weeks back so i posted few cv,s off got a call from longs offering a tramping job i didnt take it been busy on agencys last week and this week got a interview at bibbys up at leeds bradford night trunking i just walked in few weeks ago after reading on here how its better to call in person it just shows things must be picking up hope im lucky i night work is steady and its 15 min from my house :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice one - especially when you factor in travel costs.

its alright a up at bibbys, done quite a bit of work in there and they seem friendly enough.

Bibby’s normally are very good at asking for the good agency drivers back again. But remember its the guys in the Lutterworth office you need to sweet talk, not the depot ones. Get on well with them and you’ll be fine.

Good company, good kit, just make sure you thoroughly do your checks and take your breaks. They will check up on you at least once a week, even if you don’t realise it!

The job is night trunking seabrook crisps from bradford been to both sites in my time picking up loads at the factory when i worked at vernon land and i know both ellend and the airport one from stobart i did bit work from arla in seattle to there yard in ellend seem good company fingers crossed

Never had any problems delivering to their depot next to the airport, apart from the way the forkies drive round, you’d think the forklifts were made by Subaru :open_mouth:

Cheers will let you know how it goes

Pulling as a sub for Dsv out of immingham, it’s totally dead up here still, a typical day from last week.

Immingham to Boston, tip, down to Kings Lynn for a reload, back to Immingham, park up for the night at 16:00, pickup a trailer from the dock at 07:00 for Sutton Bridge, back to immingham later that day for my next trailer for tomorrow. Averaging 250 miles per day absolute max at the moment. Dead. At least there is something to keep us ticking tho eh
