I’m currently off with a scalded foot , I’ve been self cert this week but will be sick note next and only paid SSP[emoji47]
How will this affect my WTD average ? As I’m on SSP and not Holliday

I’m gonna go out on a limb here (see what I did there?) and say zero hours.

That’s my thinking as well but hopefully ROG can shed some light on it

I’m gonna go a step further (ok, no more foot jokes) and say that is definitely zero hours as the W in WTD stands for working and being on the sick equals no chance of working it can’t possibly be any other than zero hours.

Personally I’d let the company worry about it as it’s naff all to do with the employee anyway.

Yep all I know is that when I put my card in 2 weeks time it will show zero driving for the last week

Tachograph will know, hopefully he hot foots it onto this forum and answers your question.

When you put the card back in it goes under Rest Till Now - Yes.

Hey presto, no working time used.

I’ll just ask why do you even care?

Or Wounded Toe Directive

Sorry BE, couldn’t resist!

Time spent sick or on holiday counts as 8hrs per day or 48hrs for a full week.

As said any period of sick leave is calculated at 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week.

Neither holiday or sick leave can be used to reduce the average weekly working time.

To expand on my own (and Tachograph’s) point…

It’s only statutory holidays (20 + 8 BH) that count towards WTD. If say you get 25 days plus bank holidays those five days beyond the statutory requirement CAN be counted as 0 hours for WTD.
