Yes.
but for the WTD you count the normal 8hrs as if it was holiday which is stupid, Imagine a week in hospital and as per the WTD you have to account for them hours 
So if I worked my day off, when I put my card in the tacho would I need to do a manual entry or just confirm ‘rest until now’?

rest mate if you aint working its rest ie
Mon Tues = work
wed thurs = sick (rest)
fri work
sat work
sun rest
mon work
tues work etc if that’s what you mean

Makes it easier to remember if I’m not working then its classed as rest.
Think I may work Saturday night, ‘premium rate’ and all that
