In Nursling, Southampton…anyone have any info on the usual, what they like to work for, pay, hours, holidays etc??
Worked for Sibley’s 2007-12, started on 8 wheel Scania (L10 SMM) then upgraded to a DAF (HX51 SWW) a much better site tipper, the wages are average hourly paid, some sort of uniform supplied, mostly aggregate deliveries, been told that they have recently purchased a couple of new tippers. CPC training was being done on site by an outside company but i do not no if that is still the case. Hours are governed by tacho law as normal. Holidays were i believe on a first come, first serve basis. hope this is of help to you, application forms can be download from they website.
