One of our Pratnav junkies has an export to load from here tomorrow, and basically I`m after the lowdown on the easiest way in pls…
I want to be able to unplug his gadget and leave pretty precise instructions in his cab, for peace of mind more than anything else, as its in the middle of knowhere by the look of it, and I don`t want him sightseeing or featuring on the local news if he gets stuck
From Derby come up A38 to Ripley turn left onto A610 to Ambergate.
Turn right onto A6 to Cromford, turn left then right onto A5012 Follow signs for Ryder point, there’s a left turn off the A5012 signposted Ryder point, basically once you have gone past Ryder point turn right at crossroads and sibelco is on the right mate

You can’t turn right up A5012 its shut for a while ,best way is to miss the right turn and carry on straight up cromford hill and when you see a 14 ft arched stone bridge in front of you turn right and go up porter lane which is the b5035 follow to traffic lights and go straight over and up hill ,go under unmarked bridge and after half a mile turn off to the right at staggered cross roads at this point there will possibly be no sign posts but a newly built stone wall on the right ,follow this road up hill and down the other side and up hill again then you will see the sibelco entrance and sign on your right

Top man, and thanks everyone for the info…
I`ll print it off and leave it in his cab…whilst removing his pratnav
If he gets there successfully be sure to go back the same way as it’s likely the Pratt nav will put you in the bottom of the valley the wrong side of the road closure with the only way being up steep or through a weight limit ,don’t want lorries coming passed here ,not in my back yard
