Hello folks, this is my first post here and I hope I’ve put it in the right place. My days of travelling the roads in more than a Volvo S60 are now fairly numbered after spending 27 years in the fire brigade and another 5 or so driving for agencies after retirement. I’m winding down and my life long hobby has been model making and at the moment I’m interested in building something different, a yard shunter. I’ve seen lots and lots of 4x2 shunters, but how about the bigger boys, the 6x4, do yards have them in large numbers? If anyone can supply photos of these vehicles from around the country I’d love to see them.
