It will pay someones bills.
Sounds foul to me.
In a scenic spot, you see plastic bags of dog muck that have been thrown in to the hedge or bush.
Why bother to tie the bag and toss it ?
To issue a fixed penalty, you need proof of an address.
As most will give a false address.
In Europe,by law,you must carry your ID with you at all times.
The job mentions potential aggression. Will they provide the poop scooper ?

In fairness it’s only 18.5 hours a week. That equates to £18-£22 per hour just for walking around looking for the odd dog turd.
Theres truck drivers out there working 3x them hours for not much more cash than whoever takes that job.

It says Pro Rata, so I reckon that it’s about 8k basic.
Just hope the job taker has private health insurance. Probably need it when some Chav with a Staffie stamps on their gonads…
Assuming the top rate of £21734 and working a standard 37.5 hour week it works out to £11.14 per hour.
More than many on here I’d say. And our trucks probably smell worse.
seventeen to twenty one thousand for 18 hrs a week ,not bad at all

I’m not sure you understand what “pro rata” means.
I can always find a dog turd without looking for it…its usually on the bottom of my shoe…cant see the hardship in picking it up really…we’ve got 2 dogs and we manage to pick up their mesa

You didn’t expect reading skills, or any other intelligence from a HGV driver did you? Seriously?
My missus would love that job, people who let their dogs foul, or if they do pick it up, they then discard it locally rather than in a bin, is 1 of her pet hates (sorry for the ■■■■ pun(s))
Gotta be better than a parking ■■■■■ I mean attendant

Not really, you can’t ‘ejukate’ the ‘unejekatable’ !!! Lol.
After all, that’s why we’re all driving 44 tons of Lard around all day long, for rich people, paying us as little as possible while they line their own pockets with the profits they make from us !
“Primarily working alone”… yeh. Ok. once all the laughing has subsided - wot’s to stop someone using up their book of PCN’s by monday afternoon, and spending the rest of the week off? - Who’s to say you’ve been on the crap beat every day you’re supposed to be - if it’s unsupervised?
This could be made into quite a cushy number…
