My mate wants his truck to shine like the yanks motors he has seen. I use autoglym but he reckons this and Mur is crap, I reckon its down to the actual paint job been done properly but he still wants to know if anyone knows what polish the Yanks use, beyond me but there you go each to there own.
I don’t actually polish the truck (you need to see kindle 530 for that 
) but I do use Autoglym stuff on my car,and have done since it was new,which to be fair was less than a year ago…but if it’s good enough for Aston Martin,then it’s good enough for me.
Most of it is down to the paint finish,but I use either Nu-finish,Maguires or mothers,all in a wax rather than spray,panel at a time .
even if the paint is a bit flat by following tried and tested formulas you can achieve some spectacular results,this forumcan point you in the right direction
Mer is slightly abraisive and not very good at all, but Autogym isn’t too bad, there are some polishes that cost £1000’s of pounds
you could try this stuff, only $50,003,00 a pop
