Guys heading for shepton mallit tomorrow from birmingham but i need to avoid steep hills so im thinking junc 23 m5 then turning off before the 361 heading towads wells then accross to shepton.as i want to avoid piilton hill any one no if the 39 towards wells is ok in an artic? Cheers

I used to go through the middle of Bristol and down the A37. Only one significant hill (if memory serves) a few clicks south of Bristol, but it has a crawler lane
Why can’t you use any hills?

Liquid tanker dosent like long hills even worse if its damp

A 37 BEST ROAD IN UK :smiley: .IT TS was my first trip .narrow road.but when go second time was Ok.

It’s probably too late now but a39 is perfectly ok i do it quite often just a little narrow in places.
