Just sat here on my break and quite impressed with the secure overnight parking they have for HGV’s. It is only a small parking area but has a security guy sat in his car patrolling the area. I’m curious to know more about this place, is it a part of the Shell garage or has an independent bloke bought part of the land to use as HGV parking cos it looks to be done on the cheap with just cones put across the entrance and exit to the parking area.

FYI…it is not the BP garage at Darrington with the suicidal entry back onto A1, it is the next one down a mile away

I pass it most days, I wondered which way you get in. Both seen to have height barriers.

If it’s the one going southbound the height barriers swing open,there’s an old hotel which I thinks shut down and someone must have bought the land,I broke down last year and managed to crawl into the garage,had a nosey around whist fitter turned up,think they even take Snap accounts,was a few Stobart biomass parked in there that night…
