I know it’s not a Sheffield firm but anybody remember Marsdens from Gateford,Worksop.One of the first wagon and drags I ever saw.

i only remember the dodge cos my dad had one & i used to with him when he worked for bill varah from wickersley did u know him- i believe he owned the land at maltby before mfs-sold it & built a bungalow at micklebring got a couple of photos of the dodge somewhere-alan

I didn’t know him Alan but I’ve heard the name mentioned years ago.I think he owned the land where Butlers yard was next to MFS as well.When they moved out Jarvis Coaches moved in.
I know Conisboro’ is a few miles away from Sheffield but I remember this garage where Trent Oils from Gunness is delivering.

get coopers of killamarsh on very tidy motors

they’ve got a cracking fleet, even there hinos look tidy

have we had truswell on here, and how about Harris with there xf105

does anyone, have any pics of Gillots i think they where called, they had fodens and they used to do a lot of low loader work, but i cant find anything on them

Hi tipperdave you are correct they did run Fodens as I knew one of their drivers “Ted Cas” I think they were around Neepsend /Hillfoot bridge area then moved up to wadsley bridge but sorry no pics

i thought it was only me that remebered them
