I didn’t know him Alan but I’ve heard the name mentioned years ago.I think he owned the land where Butlers yard was next to MFS as well.When they moved out Jarvis Coaches moved in.
I know Conisboro’ is a few miles away from Sheffield but I remember this garage where Trent Oils from Gunness is delivering.

does anyone, have any pics of Gillots i think they where called, they had fodens and they used to do a lot of low loader work, but i cant find anything on them
Hi tipperdave you are correct they did run Fodens as I knew one of their drivers “Ted Cas” I think they were around Neepsend /Hillfoot bridge area then moved up to wadsley bridge but sorry no pics
