Shameless Plug

I follow and support all types of motorsport, and I also promote a couple of grasstrack riders in the UK and abroad. Imagine my surprise when I saw this poster adorning the rear end of an Arriva bus near Lichfield. It is a great advert for our sport and well chosen. Dan was 2011 British Youth Champion and is currently lying 4th in the World for the second time after narrowly missing the podium in Vechta in September

Give us a heads up on here if you see this bus poster and any photos would be great. (obviously not when driving)

Is grass track like speedway wheel nut?? I wouldn’t say I’m a massive fan but I do like watching a bit of speedway!!!

Very similar but with bigger tracks and on grass obviously, same format, no brakes and often have two gears, in 250, 350, 500 solos and 1000cc sidecars.

In Europe they have grasstrack and long track which use circuits of over 1000metres.

Speedway is probably better regulated and refereed, and the riders earn much more money for points scored
