Severn bridge closed due to falling ice again

Anyone heading eastbound will be diverted up the a449 to the m50 and back down the m5, eastbound traffic will be diverted over the old severn bridge (until they close that)

Obviously decided not to spend any money last time to prevent it happening again Now there is chaos as the coldra slip road is down to one lane due to roadworks so you have 3 lanes going into 1.

2nd crossing now open old bridge still only 1 lane in each direction

I had to go to Gloucester today from South Wales, 67 odd mile. Took me over 3 hours.
Made worse by the Police closing the M4 at the Coldra and not letting traffic go to Chepstow via the M4 to get on the A48. Makes no sense at all.

yeah that was a nightmare, i got stuck on the m48 for ages & ended up going over my 4.5hrs  Â
