I love this truck.

Have you ever driven it ?

Have you ever driven it ?

I do every day, best motor I’ve ever driven, miles better than any Scania/Daf/Renault I’ve driven.

I drove one last night for the first time and i thought it was alright apart from it kept cutting out and not starting when i was hooking it up to a trailer :imp:

aparantly it was a safety cut off system and you had to push the foot brake then release the handbrake then push the start button and that restarted it !! :open_mouth: …and if not then jump out lock it and leave it for a few minutes :unamused:

took me ages to hook onto that trailer :stuck_out_tongue:

That must be a specked safety feature by the owner of the vehicle, ours don’t have that, they cut out after so long on idle.

Yes it’s nice to drive but what about that gearbox ?

supposed to be the best for fuel effieciency

Whatever it was it was a pain in the a**e !! :imp:

i had to split couple as it was a fridge trailer so i reversed it under a bit then connected the suzies, jumped back in and it cut out…

someone told me how to restart it so i did the hand brake way and it started so i got the air back up and reversed back and it bounced off the kingpin !!..i drove forward again and it cut out again :imp:

this time it woudnt start so i left it a few mins then it started, so i reversed back again and it just bounced off the kingpin again…

so i drove forward and started to lower the suspension to see if that helped and yes it cut out again !! :imp:

i eventually got it started and connected to the trailer but it was so annoying !!

anyway it drove fine but now and again going downhill it dropped a couple of gears and revved the nuts off itself :open_mouth:

at least that woke me up !!

PowerShift 3 don’t seems better than I-shift as here people wich drive Volvos and Mercs said, but i don’t think so far in terms of performance and reliability.

I see well I can’t help you with the connecting up issues, the dropping down 2 gears, I’m guessing you were on cruise controll at the time. If so you have to knock it off cruise when it goes over 58 then she’l roll upto 75 (so I’m told) ha ha

Yes it was on cruise control and it normally only dropped one gear as it went downhill but it did drop two gears a couple of times even when I was breaking and it did sound like the engine was going to explode!! lol
