Everyone from the Canadians to the Iranians obviously haven’t bought all the bs from the zb greens and the British government about the CO2 levels causing a global warming meltdown and that the only way to stop it is to tax all cars and trucks off the road.

What’s to stop someone taking an empty tanker over there, filling it, and returning to england with all that booty?
It can’t be as simple as that - Perhaps it’s 1-2p after you’ve claimed some kind of government subsidy tax relief off it?
In other words, if you’re not a resident and working in Venuzuela, then you don’t get that cushy price!

The usual situation is that most,if not all,oil producing countries aren’t stupid enough to charge their own people the same price for their own oil as they sell it on the world markets for.Which is how the OPEC group of countries etc sell the stuff at their own pumps for peanuts while charging a lot more for it on the world markets.Although that didn’t apply in the case of the British in respect of North Sea Oil products which we ended up paying more for at the pump than many of the places which we exported it to.
There wouldn’t be much point in OPEC if the oil producers were stupid enough to sell a supertanker load of diesel,at domestic prices,for export,which would probably make it less price than they want for crude oil on the world market.
However the relevant comparison is the North American type pump prices.In which,although they are still reliant in large part on imported oil,unlike the British government,they don’t then tax the zb out of the stuff themselves having paid the Arabs etc the usual type of realistic world market price for it.
