Was cooking up a “spag bog” earlier and as i was stirring the gubbins,noticed what i thought was a piece of chopped mushroom on the kitchen floor.
Picked it up thinking “bung it in the pot ,itll be ok”
Good job i didnt . . turned out to be a small slug- must have been stuck on the bottom of one of my slippers after getting an onion out of the shed !!
I know ime the wrong side of 50 but its still a bit early to turn into Victor Meldrew. . isnt it?
