About 4 years ago I did some agy driving you know the kind of thing registered with 3 agys and was by and large able to pick the best work they came up with. I chose the, what I think you call the “umbrella” scheme I think it was Nova or something like that. But around that time there was a lot of speculation on here and other places as to wether or not it was legal and would last.
Anyhow I got out of the industry and I am in work at the minute but looking at possibly hitting the road again 
. Obviously I am reading some stuff here and there and find that umbrella schemes are stilll about.So I have a couple of questions around this area if I may folks.
How many people use the umbrella schemes and is Nova still about ?
Does anyone just cut out the middleman (agy) and work direct for the client,and if so what form does this take,i.e. ltd company etc etc.
