Seeking advice

Hey all,

With the introduction of the CPC, the company i work for have been holding the courses to
get all our drivers through. The courses started just before i started working there, so missed the first one,
then was not able to make the last one due to a family situation.

I was told that any drivers that dont have the full amount of hours required at the end of the planned
courses, would have the chance to do extra courses to complete any missing hours.

Have now been told that, im going to be 2 days short at the end, and that basically its tuff
and now i have to pay myself and do it in my own time.

So the advice im seeking is this, if a company has planned to put all their drivers through and they
obligated to pay for my courses?

regards
BH

No, they are under no obligation. It is your qualification and stays with you

Thanks for the quick reply.

Makes me laugh, the fitters get their courses paid for and do them in work time and get paid for it.

Our place were putting us through for free, until they realised they wouldn’t get everyone done in time. I’m ok but anyone whose started this year is responsible for themselves
