On many times,i have had no problems parking inside the port,there is a Petromiralles fuel station in Zona Delta,port of Zona Franca,there is a cafe,that serves hot meals,the sea is 5 metres away,if you need a bath.
The port police wont check you going in,they are normaly reading their newspaper.

Is that anywhere near La Rambla, I spent a weekend there once on a stag do and the bottom end of La Rambla is down near the harbour, very nice part of world, a bit dodgy at night tho .
There’s the secure one run by Regesa aparcaments just off Rambla de Prim next to Centre Forum. Right in the centre, wi-fi, barriers, 24hr security & showers. Lots of campers use it too. Spent a few days there last year.
There is the pleasure port at the end of the Ramblas,with all the cafes and restuarants,there is a truck ban now,the Zona Delta is inside Zona Franca,the larger commercial docks.And oil/gas refinery zones.
