Second hand value

I’m in no rush routier its safe as houses & can sit where it is, I need to be patient I’ve too much going on & too little time to do everything but I’ll not be giving it away of that I can assure you.

The lorry went word of mouth last week for not bad money at all, I hear the blokes spent £90 down the valet shop though, I did dig the drivers footwell out for Him though so that should have saved Him a tenner

i had the same idea this time last year with a drop and go brick/block trailer, as demand for such a trailer was low at the time due to the time of year/lack of work, by the end of march after i gave it a sandblast and paint it sold without any test for what i paid 2 years prior with a full test

routier:

ncooper:
Three year old (2005) DAF XF 95 SSC, top spec, 340,000 km.

Cost us £45,000 in August 2008, a good price at the time, as there were very few about.
We were offered £6000 a couple of months ago and it still has only 760,000 km on it.
This by a DAF dealer who has about ten unsold new XFs on his forecourt.

Regards,
Nick.

thats some loss …£39k …

It’s not though is it really Routier - written down (business speak) it’s less than a grand a month :bulb:

Hope your trailer goes soon John - another axle under it and I’d have had your hand off! :sunglasses:

Cheers jj, I know what your saying about it being a 4 axle…

Just a thought Coop, could you load three sellers on it and take it out east, might be a winner for both you and our light fingered friend, with Syria about to implode he could get a few down there before it closes, hold on to them until nobody else has anything coming down and get top dinar for them and your trailer :bulb:

Yeah that would look great with that ■■■■■■■■■ plastic albatros up front pulling it

Mind you in all seriousness does sound half sensible

Not a bad idea at all Mark as it goes, but I’m pleased to say I’ve sold the Broshuis it goes Monday yippee only left with snow chains & load restraints now!!!

Mid East things not looking too good, I spoke to Mr Tea Leaf today & He is’nt too optomistic about the load situation.

If CIS are being straight with Me the permit to head west should be on my mat next week, best get The Labatts on ice

No need for ice mate, -28c today with a wind chill of -37c :frowning: :frowning:

Good news on the trailer

Don’t leave them outside mate, they’ll freeze solid!! :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Ross. :sunglasses:

I tried that once, they explode just before they freeze solid, not a big bang explosion, but the lids pop off and all that precious fluid bubbles out, bringing tears to my eyes just thinking about it

Anyway I’m off to hopefully sunny North Carolina when I find some motivation from within the can’t be arsed that is overwhelming me right now

Sounding chilly to Me Driver, no mountain biking till spring over there for Me thats for sure.

I’d be getting arsed & rolling south if only for a thaw out.
