SeaFrance News

Unfortunately our service continues to be subject to intermittent and spasmodic industrial action, in addition to the difficulties we have with the berths in Calais and technical difficulties.

The overall situation for today is: The SeaFrance Berlioz is running to schedule and remains unaffected. The SeaFrance Rodin, Cezanne and Manet all gave notice of strike action this morning and at the moment none are in service.

The SeaFrance Renoir has engine problems, is currently under repair in Dunkerque and is expected to return at the end of the week.

The SeaFrance Nord Pas de Calais is on refit and will not be back for a couple of weeks.

The action that currently affects our service is in addition to the planned disruption relating to the flagging out legislation that is going through the French parliament.

This will result in a complete stoppage by all our ships by all our ships between 2115 hours Wednesday 13th and 0830 hours Friday 15th April. Please accept our apologies for the continuing disruptions. We will keep you informed of further developments as they occur.

Funny how the new boat is sailing to schedule
