Thats more than we got, we have never had anything official from Seafields or anyone else for that matter. The only reason we actually know its gone is because Justin came yesterday afternoon and took away all the computers. Another farce.

We didn’t get told by seafield. Abbey left the letters for drivers in the weigh bridge office where we load on Immingham docks. Nothing official from Seafield, we don’t even know if we have work on Monday or not, it’s disgusting the way we have been treated.

They have said I will know by tuesday who will be running the warehouse. Everyone else apart from me, warehouse lad’s and tautliner drivers know what is happening to them

Yeah, was told Abbey were taking the tanker work but didn`t really want the warehouse side, find that strange really, thought they would have snapped it up.So what they expecting you all to do, turn up monday and work or not. To be honest have my doubts that we will get paid for last week as well.

I worked for a failing company a few years back, but they kept us informed right till the end. I wonder why seafield have been so secretive about it?
I hope Abbey are a decent firm, they sound very professional judging by the letter we got. Tommorow’s meeting is all day, but they are giving us 7hrs cpc for attending
Yep work Monday as normal all tata stock in the warehouse so loading as normal. Winsford tank drivers had their meeting with abbey today

They always were. Not been a good company for a long time, but hope drivers do better out of Abbey.

i have a couple of friends who work for abbey some on curtains one on powder tanks and none of them seem to complain pluss i know they earn well too

Thin would probably explain why abbey took me on for 4 days then laid me off because of lack of work, only done 4 days training and got my p45, must seen this coming and an influx of new drivers so acted accordingly, but that’s business, as for abbey as a firm you had ya usual moaners who had been there for years but as a firm it seemed a good job and good potential to earn, good luck at abbey boys I’m sure you’ll like it
