********* CALAIS UPDATE *********** *****
DUE TO THE OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES AND THE SEVERE WEATHER WARNING CUSTOMERS MUST CONTACT THE PORT OF DOVER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO SHIP ANY LIVE ANIMALS
******** CALAIS UPDATE — 1230 HRS — 21st FEBRUARY

DOVER — CALAIS Berth 8 is now operational in Calais following its withdrawal for safety checks at the end of last week. There are now 3 berths in use, and this should mean that the situation is much improved from last week. At the moment there is no Operation Stack for ferry traffic, and very little delays in the port of Dover. The trip between Dover and Calais is still taking longer than the usual 90 minutes as some of the ships may have to wait outside Calais for a berth to become available. So please be prepared for a longer transit time between the two ports.

CALAIS — DOVER There is currently very little delay in the port of Calais, and the good news is that once the ship leaves Calais there are no further delays as it will cross in regulation time and get straight into Dover.

thanks for keeping us upto date with the situation in regards to

DOVER-CALAIS–DOCKS; it is very much appreciated Rikki.
