I have bought an SD/MMC card reader but I am obviously doing something wrong as I cannot get my PC to get images from it when I plug it in.
I presume I am using the wrong programme, so what should I be using/ doing?
I use a 7 in 1 card reader.
I just plug the card reader into a usb port, leave it for a few seconds while XP remembers what to do with it, then plug the memory card in. It didn’t need a driver, when I plug it in, XP finds the correct driver in its own files.
It comes up in “My Computer” as a removable drive.
So far I’ve only used the memory card from my camera, so plugging that card in brings up the pic handling wizard.
