Hi, What size sd card would be suitable for a forward facing camera, thanks. Paul
Probably the biggest your device will take. Curries have a deal on at the minute, you can get 2 16gb cards for £20.
Thanks, the device does say up to 32gb but was nt sure how much data (hours) that would take and if that would have been too big or unnecessary for the price they are.

Mine records at about 1gb per hour. I use a 16gb card and get 2/3 days recording on it.
It would also depend on what type of video resolution you are using. 1080HD would use more memory than say standard VGA. If you have a smart phone there are plenty of really good apps that record. Like ionroad or autogaurd they re record over old data.
SD Cards have probably never been as cheap as they are at the moment, try Amazon.
Thanks again, think ill go for 16 gb as it does re record over.
we use 32gb in our camera, record up to 4 days driving.
What camera you using.
Its a HD DVR camera recommended on here, just a cheap one and for the money looks great, (hd portable dvr camera with 2.5 tft lcd screen) if that makes sense. Some of the sd cards on ebay are class 10, what does that mean?

Something along the lines data read / write speeds, I did read up on on it when I last bought a card, but can’t remember a great deal now, they start at class 2 and 10 is or was the highest. But I’d never buy a card off the bay, too many fakes, I went onto amazon then narrowed the sellers down to just amazon themselfs
