Thanks for this. I’ve entered. Love the thought of a free C+E course…but I’m not sure I can wait until August! Anyone know if the wonderful Peter Smythe does a summer discount to match his Christmas one??

I thought the same thing; winners aren’t even announced until September!
Interestingly though, the competition is being run in association with ‘Easy As HGV’ which I recognized from a thread on here a few weeks back:

Not quite sure what to make of that, but I guess the saying ‘never look a gift horse in the mouth’ applies, especially since they say it’s “to completion” which presumably means it includes the umpteen retests the winner might need if the training is a bit rough

The competition givers are a german pc game company that make simulation games which include European and U.S trucks , so I should think the questions will be very basic , but since it’s 4 grands worth of free tuition resulting in a professional licence i felt a better place to advertise the offer would be here… As for the training company, as long as it’s not your money take the training and don’t look back
