Right click the article and save as a picture.

Open it up as a picture from your picture files then you can zoom in and look at the detail as clear as anything

Failing that you can always increase the magnification of this page by 200% at the bottom right hand corner of your screen

Regards Paul

Or you can enlarge the page by holding down the Ctrl key bottom left of the keypad and then keep pressing the + key top right of keypad to the desired size to reduce again hold down Ctrl and keep pressing the - key (next to the + key)

My brother drove the H.Baker F12 for a while

I didn’t realise/remember that Baker’s were involved with Mazinter - I remember Thompson Davies being their UK agent and JVM (Mick Moore) from Haworth doing most of the work?

Hi jj72,

Harry Bakers wife Jenny ran a European Freight Forwarding company, and she had a good relationship with Mazinter, she used to load my vehicles on a regular basis. Really nice lady, great to do business with, as was Harry.

Regards
Richard

Clearing up in the shed I found some colour slides. The damp has started to get to them.

Phillmac was a joint Phillips 66 and Tarmac venture.

Cheers Phil.

Anyone know if that (presumably pictured at Kelvin Hall?) is the one which has been restored recently?

I am delighted to find this site and see Argyle Christina is still being discussed, The truck was designed and built by my father William Moffat and named after my mother Christina, he also had designs to build a 24 ton and 32 ton, they were named after my sister and I. We have many photos of Christina and will post them at some point, i heard 2 years ago there is still one truck in operation some area in Ireland. Argyle Diesel Electrics still operates from East Kilbride specializing in diesel fuel injection.
