I am thinking that could be Ardrossan Harbour and the ship is the MV Goodwill operated by Anglo Continental Container Services (ACCS) later Containerway.

There was a Goodwill Traveller and a Goodwill Explorer who also worked out of Preston Docks on a Containerway service.

The funnel colours are similar, light blue at the base, then white then a black ring at the top

That is ugly :imp: I bet he dropped a few miles off the mpg

Would it have made that much difference to the MPG’s?
If the wind didn’t hit the roof extension,it would of hit the front of the trailer and got caught up in the gap between unit and trailer.
I must agree though,it is ugly!

Ugly or not, at one time it would have been someones pride and joy, and I bet it had more room inside the cab than many more at the time. :-Jack

It’s not really that bad is it, in it’s day it may have been the business, looking at that blue it could almost be ex Leggetts.

Nice set of pics again Bubbleman I recognise the H Hibberd name-when we used to stay in Swindon in the 60’s their lorries were red I think-have you got any more Hibberd pics please. Regards Tim

I can only ever remember H. Hibberds being green.

What happened to H. Hibberd? I remember them early 90s doing a lot of M4 work-I used to go with dad to Wooton Bassett sidings for stone and Hibberds used to get in there regularly. MJ Church do a lot of their nowadays.

Hello again, the pic of the old docks from yesterday was Larne in Ireland…heres some more clippings.

Apologies if I’ve put any on before.
