Scrapbook Memories (Part 1)

Now you can see how dangerous mobile phones are when driving.
And it’s not even the driver that’s using it! :unamused:

This is my first attempt at uploading, hope it works!

Hi Muckaway, well done with the up loading I,ll be buggered if I can do it. nice shot of GBT309L, she is my old motor from Mitchells of York, I drove her from 1988-1991 she was originaly a flat lorry but when Bill Mitchell retired at Christmas 91 I bought GBT from him for preservation. I removed the platform body and fitted a 26ft boxvan and converted it into a caravan for the rally field. Saddly Bill died in 94 and as a result I lost my storage space so I had to sell GBT at the RTS Auctions at Peterboro in 95. I have loads of photos of GBT at work as a flat lorry but as I said I can,t get them onto here because I have a problem up loading the photo bucket ! you can get me on tonyhawkridge@live.co.uk and I could Email some pictures if you like ! Regards doublereduction.

I’d forgotten how many of those 6x4 Fodens were around, although they were still a comparitiveley rare beast. I always liked 'em myself, but they were bloody awful in the wet when running empty or ‘light engine’. As for the mid-axle conversion on that Sed-Ak 400… what an abortion!!
