Hi Marc, I’m found this thread a few days ago. I’m browsing it and arrived at page 35.
But this one really brings back memories from my childhood!!!
They were only 10 kilometers from my house. When I was a little boy, we passed there a lot when going to the family. Unfortunately I didn’t have a camera in that time.
What a nice fleet in the yard on Sundays. They had also Scania LB, Volvo F88 and 89, they even had a Scania LS76 with drawbar with bulk tipper tanks. There were also Mercedes LP with the tilting cabs.
They went bankrupt end '70’s.
Anyone has more photos from this company■■?
Greetz from Belgium.

Bubs.
Just adding a couple of oldies in,hope you dont mind.

Next pic taken by Adam Floyd.

Hiya… saw that earlier this year. but you dont stand a change to work out what they are. ive put photos on TN of Dodges with
AEC engines. Bedfords with Albion back axels. they are choping 2 axel units inhalf and fitting double drive backends . so the
answer to you question is most proberly LAD like the cabs.or even Leyland AEC Dodgy or Leyland Atkinson Daft
John

hiya,
Don’t half like Alan Firmin’s 8 legger and trailer did a bit with one like that, bit nicer in the steering department and would pop on a bit even managed a dodgy or two with one of them although a bit hard to hide, 10 out of 10 for that one.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Marc a couple more of Rob Rymers pics for you

First one is a Wimpey Scammell (I think) 483ATL the words written by it say Winchester By-Pass to Compton and Southampton. 153’ long and 126 tons. Fab assembly (Excavator)
Wimpey senior Constructor 483ALT.

Next is a newspaper cutting the caption below the pic reads; An impressive view of one of the two consignments of huge steel girders each 78ft long and weighing 3 tons which are due to leave Winchester for Manchester tomorrow.
The girders 23 in all are being supplied by Conder Engineering Company Limited of Winchester, for a 150ft span building in Manchester.
The two lorries transporting the girders will be escorted by police and will take the whole of Sunday to complete the journey.

Just look at the overhang? Anyone know who did this job?

Regards Pat
