Hi bubbs, its great to see a pic of the Mack VBN809T run by Olga Cox from Sutton Coldfield.

Id love to see any more pics of their fleet, I know they had at least one other Mack.

If anyone has any other information on what happened to them, and any of their vehicles, Id be pleased to hear from them,

Ed

Hi bubbs,

have you any pics of Expofreight or lobo (Lloyds of Birmingham Overland)? I’ve put a request on another post, but knew you’d be the man! It’s for a friend who drove for them.

Many thanks Marc, keep up the excellent work, it really is appreciated by all.

Regards,

Mark.

Hi Bubbleman
The Foden picture you have with Roger Bettley across the front.I new a lad called Roger Bettley from the sandbach area who did some vehicle test for Fodens years back. Could this be the same lad(any more info on it)? He then went onto tankers.

bubbleman:

would anyone know if this DLS is the same as a-one’s international division, before being taken over presumably, please?

keep up the good work bubbs, have nominated you for an OBE for your sterling work

I remember Roger Bettley on the bulk liquids. I believe he was involved somehow with Steve Gibson who started Bulkhaul. I know he had a few trucks on along with another operator who I cannot remember for the moment, but who now works for Bertschi. White F10 with blue chassis I think.

Hi Wheelnut
Thats the same Roger Bettley. In 2003 Him,Myself and 2 others bought County Frieght of our boss at the time and renamed it Direct North West ltd we ran chemicals out of Albion Sandbach & Ineous Runcorn. But we had to close in 2006 unfortunatley.
