Can anybody say what is the make of this car, seen on the Wigan World Forum.
The coal lorry in the 2nd picture looks like it could be a Pagefield, made at
Walkers factory near Wigan town centre. Both vehicles have Wigan number plates.

It’s like something out of the tv show Scrapheap Challenge

Greetings,All.
A bit of nostalgia,I found these photos of a Seddon Atkinson 401 I used to drive on Shell. Our depot was in Wandsworth (now a des res block of flats). It had a Rolls Royce 265 coupled to a Spicer Splitter gearbox.I last drove it in May,1987.Funnily enough,it is still on the DVLA files. All the best,regards,900x20.

The driver of this steamwagon at Lemington is my Great Uncle Bob Smiles whom in later years went on to drive tippers for his brother Isaac Smiles, Larry.

This is Bob in later years, Larry.

That last one reminds me, wasn’t there a Ross Garages haulage firm years ago, S. Wales perhaps?
