I think that Scraggs from Cheadle are still trading, they had some Volvo F7 tippers at one time and one of our former drivers was injured driving one in a RTA at Catchems Corner on the A50.

Here is another of theirs that came to grief, not my pic.

The F10 is “Young Tuck” (Tucker Jameson) owner driver from Wark near Hexham. His Father (also Tucker) had Couple of cattle wagons. Both characters in their own right.

Many operators used them as it avoided overloading the front axle when doing multi drop deliveries.
