^^The first picture of the yard full of lorries is fascinating. Do you know where and when it was taken?
I would guess 1959/60.

Hi,
1st 2 photos of Carl tipping in Moscow were given to me to scan many years ago by Jason - Carls son which I posted - sadly Carl passed away a few years ago and Bunchie passed away just before Xmas

Hi Ant, I am sorry to hear that very bad news about Phil Bunch, the Mushroom Lady and I spent a really enjoyable weekend in Italy with three ex-Thor drivers, Bunchie, Gouldi and Alan Morrey, when Phil and Ray were on for Moorlock’s.
I hope that you didn’t mind me reshowing Jason’s photos of his dad in Moscow.
Somebody did mention on here that Carl had passed away many years ago and I can only remember Jason when Dow started the Fiat parts delivery service in Warrington. I think that Jason had a Volkswagen Golf at the time, not sure if it was red or maroon, it might of even of been his first car. Come to think of it, I think he paid a couple of visits to the yard in Lingard Lane when Carl had a Mercedes.
Is Jeff The Flying Foden still around ?
B.T.W. Ant,
I meant to put this photo on the Old Stoke Companies thread a long time ago but I can’t seem to enlarge it. Can anybody help

I hope this helps. It’s the best I could do without it pixelating. I’ve given the colour a bit of a lift too.

Judging by the trucks would be in the 50’s and believe it was Cardiff Docks but that may be wrong, Buzzer
Aren’t they all BRS?
The picture is taken in Swansea, and considering that most of the vehicles are BRS lorries, it was probably a BRS depot.
The large building at the rear is Weaver & Company Ltd, a large flour mill and corn store, demolished in the 1970s.
Perhaps pete359 and some of the other Welsh Trucknet lads may remember Weavers mill, and know if they had their
own lorries, tankers and flats ■■.Ray Smyth.
Good morning,
The Weaver Company building was a landmark as you crossed the Tawe river.I broke down outside there in my Chevette when I was going to college in Townhill during 1983.It was still there then,Its a Sainsbury’s supermarket and garage now.
Regards Andrew.
A few photos of international combustion lorries from Derby, they were part of the group (NEI) that owned the company I worked for from leaving school, both very good companies but sadly long gone now. I.C. Ran quite a few ERF’s when I used to go in there with quite a variety of trailers. Nmp.

Looks like “Easter” as the name on the door.
David
Could it be Ken Easter from Brisbane.

The phone number is 450033,you could give it a ring SDU!

Bugger, just lost a long post on why I don’t think the rego is Australian.
The abridged version; can anyone with a big screen see if horizontally above, or vertically preceding the number, there is a state of issue abbreviation?

Tried the number David, no answer. I’ll try again in businesses hours.

Both Easter and Eastoe are names long associated with transport, but I’m not aware of either being involved with bulk tippers, doesn’t mean they weren’t.
The Kenworth picture is actually from Kenny Easter jnr’s fleet, the Scania could possibly be his father or grandfather’s.
Following this sequence with great interest, whoever it is Steve, when you find them tell them they have won TN’s most published truck photo award.
Well there ya go, everyday on Trucknet is a school day. It says Easter and Newcastle on the door so it’s probably a New South Wales rego.

And he mentions starting off with a tipper at 1min 20 sec’s.
You have better eyes or screen or both, than me mushroomman.
Good finds on YouTube, thanks for posting.
