Years ago I do remember seeing a Bedford TK eight wheeler, don’t know what bits were used as we were travelling in opposite directions at the time and I didn’t have chance to take a closer look, but I certainly did a double take.

I believe this exotic TK was new to Taits of Haydon Bridge,I could be wrong (and often am!) no doubt someone will set the record straight.Cheers Bewick.

hiya,
Bought myself a new Electric shaver, but if “someone” close doesn’t buy me a
half decent bottle of single malt to get me through Christmas Day, (at the
daughter’s house for the day) there’ll be war, and should I be presented with
socks or underpants, Oh’ you’ll hear me yell in Morecambe.

hiya,
“Riggers” you are letting the side down badly accepting tools as presents, tools = work,
I have for several years now been losing my tools I just leave a few on the footpath in
front of my car and go indoors for a cuppa and as if by magic they seem to disappear
I’ve so far managed to unload, a cordless drill, a socket set, several spanners, a
hammer, several screwdrivers, a timing light, at the current level of light fingeredness
I should be totally tool-less by the time the next spate of DIY is on the cards, I find the
hardest part is acting dismayed when telling the missus the “bad news” one concession
is a small electrical screwdriver, I guard it with my life, well the tele may need a fuse.

“Losing” a garden spade easy peasy Ken, just dig a hole and bury it dig it big enough
you’ll get the fork hoe and rake in there as well, up there for thinking down there
for dancing is the rule of thumb on these occasions.

Great photos there Moomooland, do you know where the black and white one was taken? The Comet is one of Albert Dents from Hillgay nr. Kings Lynn, but can’t identify the other motors. Looks like they were loading onions to me, going by the markings on the sacks.Cheers Haddy.

Thanks for that mate, I had a phone call from my mate who said it could be Sutton Bridge or Wisbech, both on the river Nene of course. Cheers Haddy.
