I bet that`s hard to pedal with those heavy snow chains fitted !!
Cheers, cattle wagon man.
That looks like a sans permis that we have here in France. Most have a single pot diesel engine but I thought they were all front wheel drive.

Yes, I think they are limited to 60km/hr but not sure about other legal restrictions on them. They are supposed to allow people, like us, who live in rural areas with no public transport to get to the shops
, which of course, as in our case, can be in the next village.
However we often encounter a long stream of traffic poddling along through villages with shops and plainly not being used for that purpose.
The drivers aren’t all drunks who have lost their licences either, many have never held one, and it shows. A mate of mine falls into this category, same age as me, and he gave me a lift to another town one day, much further than the shops, and it was a real white knuckle ride. He ignored all the stop signs with barely a glance and when I tentatively remarked on this he replied ‘what are they going to do, take my licence away?’.
However, that’s not to say that both can’t be true. Another friend one day driving along the country lane behind us came upon Jean-Claude sitting in his car stuck in a shallow ditch. Brian stopped and offered to push him out, which he did. He followed him to where J-C turns off for his house, who stopped in the middle of the crossroads, got out and lurched unsteadily back to Brian to invite him in for an apero. Brian declined, with thanks.
Wincanton ERF E10 J413 BYA was based at Maltby in 1994 and was a good motor. Pity about the tandem axled Schmitz shed on the back of it,the overhang plus the weight of the underslung tail lift took some lads by surprise now and again.
Anybody remember this company, an early seventies F89 wagon and drag must have bin some motor to drive when new .We have a driver working for us at Davies International who drove for them for some years called Dave Goddard, cheers Buzzer.
