Hope someone can help

I will shortly be shortly posting the image below on the Scott’s of Oldham web site

Has anyone any idea of what make of car the founder of the company Sammy Scott is standing in front of??

The photograph was taken on Burnley Lane in Chadderton Oldham date n/a

Thank you in anticipation

The car that Sammy Scott is proudly leaning on is a 1938 Hudson. They came in 5 different wheelbases from 112" to 129" with a choice of 6- or 8-cylinder engines, the sixes in two sizes and four different power outputs. There were 19 different standard body styles spread over 7 different model series. This one is probably a Country Club Touring Sedan with the straight-8, 4.2 litre 122 hp engine.
