Schumacher in critical condition

DaiDap:
Michael Schumacher’s management team are adamant that he will race again.

Although it might be against Stephen Hawking.

Finally… “Hill beats Schumacher”

What… too soon?

Just as we think the Celebrity Death List is all but over for 2013, Michael Schumacher puts in a tremendous final qualifying lap to take pole position.

Wish his total recovery. Keep Fighting Michael!!!

Let’s not derail this thread into childish jokes at the moment , should you wish to start a amusing thread towards MSC’s accident please go elsewhere , or grow up FFS .

^^^^I’ve started one

Hope the bloke makes a full recovery. Its strange that a lot of the top racing drivers survive a dangerous sport, only to be injured or killed after retiring. Graham Hill and Mike Hailwood are two that were killed in other accidents.

+Mike Hawthorn.
Although still driving but retired from F1, Denny Hulme died of a heart attack in a touring car type race in Australia. He actually managed to pull over too.

I think its something in their minds that drives them towards a need for adrenaline and a permanent need to be doing something competitive. They are at the top of their sport and always want a challenge. You can add Robert Kubica to the list that ended a career due to another sport (rally driving off season) then there was mark webber’s bike crash that could have ended his career.

With brain injuries the character and personality is never the same.If he pulls through this, there are mood swings to deal with and depression with fits of anger.
Suicidal tendencies are common too.The fitness level will be lost now and take a long time to peak again.
The latest is he had a second op at 22.00 last night.

A small ray of hope perhaps

Report states that following another operation there are signs of improvement

I’m only 24 but since my dad watching F1 years ago and me 4 years ago Schumacher has always been up there , I won’t cry if he dies but it won’t seem real for a while lol feels weird seeing/hearing it on the news … Come on schui

I’ve not watched an entire race since Senna died. Doesn’t seem to be any excitement anymore and I think the points system should go back the way it used to be.
I think someone needs to restart the A1 GP format…

It’s unfair to say there’s no excitement in formula one you just need to look past Vettel.

I think the years before 1994 were better but it’s still good

Just been on the news now-some scumbag journalist dressed himself up as a priest
to get access to Schumacher’s bedside.Lowest of the low. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

A photo of Schumacher on his bed could earn £250,000 or more to sell to the tabloids.
