the fuel tanks on the side of this are huge there is 1 either side stretchin the lenght of the truck (well most of it)
anyone know any more about this used to do containers
I think there’s plenty been said on here about this lot,but,used to see there motors coming off the train in Calais,empty,and they’d run up to Belgium,fill those huge tanks and get back on the train again.
The strange thing is,they used to be the same motors every night.
By god there fuel figures must be bad!
So romantiek is no longer operating?

Saw one of Romantieks a few weeks back on a low loader heading out of Wolverhampton towards the A41. Tractor Unit I’m sure and looked well rough. Tried to grab a pic put van alongsside got in the way at the lights 
this has now been sold and is awaiting bits and bobs to be done to it EX. rear lights new steps and a lot of other stuff
…just do a search on the pics forum (or google) for romantiek bvba and you will find out all about them. They stopped running in 2006.
Who sold that truck, out of interest? Gary Wyn Evans in Wales had 2 of their tractor units for sale. I’ve never seen this one before, it looks pretty old.

not sure all i know is that it has been sold and is sat in scania in telford waiting to be fixed
