heres a pic given to me

Saw this motor in the flesh on wednesday and have to say it’s one of the nicest trucks I,ve seen in a long time.

The photo doesn’t do it justice. If the badging is correct ie: 144 then it must be at least 8 yrs old and is in fantastcic condition. I know it was recently painted but colour and quality of the paint is beautiful and it was a wet, grey day at the time.

I didn’t get a chance to talk to the driver but liked the fact that it had maximum capcity tanks on there without having a stack fitted and was seriously impressed with the lockers fitted behind the cab. They were excellent idea and looked like they provided loads of room to store kit.

I saw one of M.W. Taskers trucks today and it was kitted out almost identically. Is there a connection between the two firms? or just coincidence.

Brand new truck don’t really do it for me, a bit like new cars, but I could quite happily drive this one all day every day.

Cheers
Neilf

NeilF,
Kindle will most likely tell you about that truck as he used to drive it. But the only ‘connection’ is that Mike Tasker and Piglet both share a yard in Elmswell, Suffolk, and both do a lot of subbing for HC Wilsons, whose work often takes them to Europe, hence the big tanks and LHD.

told to take pictures down, sorry.
