Scania V8-530.

Hi,guys!

Any info on this engines? It’s a Scania V8-530, 2000, the owner say’s very looked after. I don’t know much about Scania’s,apart from from what I heard from anybody, they are very good motors, specially the V8 ones!

I will be grateful, for some infos!
Have a easy afternoon,guys!

you’ll know how well its been looked after when you check the kingpins.

One thing is worrie me,how well was looked after the engine, and gearbox! I’ve got so many issuses with the previous engines,it’s true, was a Man Tga,but…,you will never know!!!

if its been looked after it will run forever more, if it hasnt it could get very expensive very quickly

Yer theres not much wrong witht he 14 ltr lumps if had good oil and changed often and the spinner changed/cleaned often should be ok depending what you are going to do with it , high miles they can have a tendency to spin the big ends  ,
i find the 14 ltr engine a lot better than the 16 ltr engine, by that i mean the 14 lts has no silly timing gears at the rear of the engine etc and a few other odds and sods,
they are a v good engine if looked after correctly… hope the last few digits on the reg number plate doesnt read… EEP tho!!!

Is that one, which is on ebay,at Blackpool, the white and red. 4x2. All,i want is to use it for a year or two,on continental work. I haven’t been up there to see it,I will try next week,if is still gonna be on a market.
