Having had a holiday for 2 weeks in Helsinki I couldn’t help but notice the trucks
What I couldn’t get over is the amount of new Scania Streamlines over in Finland…
How many Streamlines are in use over here?
Oh and I saw Finlands version of the HA with a Scania with 700hp
I cant see any difference to any other 4 series apart from the little bits on the bottom of the corner wind deflectors
insides the same its just a name change,
Scania are nice trucks, make me smile from ear to arse:)

Well Scania/Volvo stands for almost all heavy truck sales in Finland and at the moment at v8 Scania is as reliable as you can get it and they are neck and neck spec on prices. It all depends on witch dealer you go to.
- It does help that MB has a reputation for blowing up engines after 400 000km (ex. fleet that has/had 30mb and every single truck is on it second or third engine), Iveco is just crap and Daf doesn’t look to be able to produce other than small 400hp trucks you are left with the 2 Swedes
Apart from big fleet trucks almost no truck stays original after warranty expires. The one I drive is tuned up to about 750hp (original r620)
OT: When the 143 460 came it went like crap so the company I drive for installed marine Injectors and plugged the waste gate. According to the drivers flames stood out of the exhaust under full pull up the hills. Sadly no engine lasted over the 600 000km mark but apparently it was some fun km
A 142 V8 pre-speed limiter days. The engine enjoyed being thrashed. No green line nonsense back then.Heavier the load, the better.
