Scania`s & Daf`s at Exel Wrexham

A few of our motor`s at Exel Wrexham depot

These were crap even when we got them new,
the pods wall to wall about 5ft 9ins with a bed about 2ft wide,
not much comfort for being away

And nearly 8 years on there avoided like the plague

Most of the time we only carry empty cans
so the Scanias make light work of it unlike the old Dafs

Nice Pics, But I think I would avoid those DAF’s. That Sleeper looks even more coffin like then a normal pod.

When we first had them the night heater was piped straight up into the pods it was like being microwaved,
i soon pulled the pipe off in the cab then just left it running with the hatch open,
they were the worst motor to sleep in, all they do now is run day & night from Wrexham down to Interbrew at Magor,
but thankfully not with me driving one of them.
